In this workshop Owl (Ugla Stefanía Kristjönudóttir) will share with you their own navigation of the world as a non binary trans person, highlighting the importance of ensuring trans people have their rights recognised both socially and legally. They will focus on the importance of providing trans people with acceptable health care and access to services from an norm critical and an intersectional perspective.

Owl is a trans and a queer activist, writer who fights for recognition and inclusion of trans and queer people through radical vulnerability and lectures on queer issues. They are doing their masters in gender studies. They have been at the forefront of trans rights in their home country and have also been very active on a European level. They now also coordinate My Genderation with their partner Fox Fisher, where they make videos and documentaries on trans matters and trans lives.

The event will take place at the Art Space «ArtMuza», 13th line of Vasilievsky Ostrov, 70-72.
